About Me

I'm interested in all sorts of things - I have a broad, but not deep knowledge of all sorts of odd stuff. Unlike a few people I've seen here, I have no formal qualifications or professional background in library sciences or archival - I'm just a bloke who happens to be interested in this stuff. Consequently, you'll notice that my posts tend to be somewhat low on technical info. I guess my main role here will be to create a basic skeletal structure for as many formats as possible - brief description, links to specs (where available), useful software, etc. - and leave that for people smarter and more knowledgeable than myself to add to.

I have very limited time to do this at the moment, as a recent move has left me without internet access at home, so I do what I can in breaks from work. I apologise in advance for information put in the wrong place, incorrectly formatted pages, etc. --Halftheisland (talk) 20:30, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Talk to me here! I'll do my best to answer --Halftheisland (talk) 20:30, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

I realise the Mario Paint stuff seems kinda weird but I love stumbling across these weird little subcultures. --Halftheisland (talk) 20:30, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
