Title Metadata (TMD) is a format used on the Nintendo Wii game console to store information a collection of files that make up a title (a single "piece" of software, roughly the technical realization of a Wii "channel") as well as general metadata about that title, including cryptographic information (in addition to Ticket data).[2] The TMD usually seems to be used as a header somewhere within an encapsuling format, with the data it describes located somewhere else; this occurs with WAD[3], the Wii Disc format[4], and Content.bin[5].
