:I don't recall seeing anything on what it stands for; I don't remember what I looked at when I originally wrote this page, but I've briefly gone back now and read a sampling of the READMEs, as well as looked at the output of the first version in DOSBox, and can't find anything. I wouldn't be surprised if it stood for something in Russian. Google Translate says that "беспотерьного" means "lossless", and that its transliteration is "bespoter'nogo", which would account for the "B", but that's just a guess. Anyhow, feel free to move it. Unless there are objections, I want to rename this article, and use BMF for a disambiguation page. I'm not sure what to name it to, though. Does BMF stand for something? -Jsummers (talk) 15:58, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

I don't recall seeing anything on what it stands for; I don't remember what I looked at when I originally wrote this page, but I've briefly gone back now and read a sampling of the READMEs, as well as looked at the output of the first version in DOSBox, and can't find anything. I wouldn't be surprised if it stood for something in Russian. Google Translate says that "беспотерьного" means "lossless", and that its transliteration is "bespoter'nogo", which would account for the "B", but that's just a guess. Anyhow, feel free to move it.
