StartupScreen is allegedly a graphic format connected with (some version of) the Macintosh and bearing a .scrn extension. Some sketchy sources also claim that the .scrn file type is associated with the Apple II, as a "Golden Orchard Apple II CD Rom file". Any number of operating systems have had screens that display upon startup, sometimes customizable.
