PSRFITS is a variant of the Flexible Image Transport System used for storage of pulsar data. It is used by the SETI@Home project for the raw binary data of work units in the SETI@Home (classic) and BOINC systems. The .raw file extension is used for such data, but it is also found encoded within work-unit files of other extensions that include header data as well.
