Ontology
In the book of Genesis, Adam was tasked to assign names to all the animals. Ever since, humans have steadily been coming up with systems to name people, places, and things, or sometimes number them (I am not a number; I'm a human being!).

This section is for systems of assigning identifiers: names, numbers, and the like.

Most articles about naming systems are placed in the same category as the formats that use them, or the things that they name. But sometimes there is no more suitable category, so this category can be used as the primary category.
