A Minecraft loot table is used in the Minecraft game. This and other Minecraft formats are extensively documented in the Minecraft Gamepedia wiki.
It is in JSON format and represents the items that appear when something is opened, killed, fished in, or otherwise disgorges stuff. (However, some things like slime and silverfish are represented in other ways not involving this format.)
