MatchWare Mediator or Medi8or, was a flash development multimedia tool.[2][3] Discontinued in 2016 with version 9.[4]

File Information

Mediator could save project files with the MD8 extension.

  • Version 3 and previous versions header began with the Ascii MatchWare Medi8or Version.
  • After version 3 standard header included the Ascii SOS Standard filesystem 1.0 MatchWare

Mediator List files

Maintained in the project folder with the MD8 file is the Keyword list (.KIX) and the Text search list (.SIX, not to be confused with SIXEL Bitmap Graphic). These files were embedded in the main Mediator file with version 9 of the software.[5]
