LZH usually stands for Lempel-Ziv-Huffman, i.e. some data compression scheme that uses Lempel-Ziv (LZ77?) compression, followed by Huffman coding of the resulting codes.
Formats that use this compression technique do not necessarily call it LZH. DEFLATE, for example, does not.
Specific formats known as LZH include:
- LHA - LHArc (.lzh)
- CrLZH
- Zoo's compression method #2
- SCO compress LZH
