Google Glass is a much-hyped wearable networked device in the form of eyeglasses which is (as of early 2013) under a limited developer release by Google. It can do a variety of functions including taking pictures or videos, providing directions, and showing e-mail, using voice commands and a touchpad. It runs the Android operating system, and third-party developers are able to create apps for it.
