CMU Andrew Toolkit image (or Andrew Toolkit raster object) refers to the use of the Andrew Toolkit Data Stream format to store raster images.

The Data Stream format is a multimedia format developed at Carnegie Mellon University in conjunction with the Andrew system. It is an ASCII text file containing a series of elements which can specify text, raster images, and other objects. Its raster image features are notable in that they are supported by some third-party software.
