Two number counting system, used since 500-200 BC. It is the system computers use to process instructions. Without Base2 computers probably never would have evolved so rapidly. Two number counting system, used since 500-200 BC. It is the system computers use to process instructions. Without Base2 computers probably never would have evolved so rapidly. Early Mechanical computers developed in the beginning of the 20th century up to the 1930' s mostly used the Base10 system to process instructions.
