Binary XML

Binary XML is a binary representation of the XML data format (unlike normal text-based XML documents), used in some applications for speed and compactness, at the expense of not being directly human-readable. No consistent standard has yet emerged for this, but some competing versions are in use including an Android form found within APK app archives.
