Pack-Fire (also called Fire Pack, Fire-Pack, Fire-Packer) is a file compression utility and format for Atari ST computers. It was developed by "Axe of Delight", later "Axe of Superior".

See also Pack-Ice.

[edit] Identification

(More research needed.) Files start with ASCII "FIRE".

[edit] Software

There are two variants of Pack-Fire that both call themselves version "2.01". One may be referred to as "v2.00". It's not clear which one is older -- the reported dates are not trustworthy.
