BDMV is a format used on Blu-ray Discs for data related to user interactivity, connecting the various other files together. The normal extension is .bdmv, but in instances where such files are stored in filesystems (e.g., FAT32) that allow only three-letter extensions, .bdm is used.
These files are usually accompanied by other associated files including these related formats:
- M2TS (Blu-ray disc video stream packet format)
- CLPI (Blu-ray disc clip info files)
- MPLS (Blu-ray disc playlists)
