Corel CD Creator was a CD buring software program developed by Corel for both Windows and Mac OS. Software also was specialized to burn Kodacks PhotoCD discs. Corel sold the CD Creator software to Adaptec in June of 1996<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20021202191813/http://www3.corel.com/cgi-bin/gx.cgi/AppLogic+FTContentServer?pagename=Corel/PressRelease/Details&id=ZZZUTZL069C</ref>, Adaptec merged the software with its Easy-CD Creator software. This was later spun off and rebranded as Roxio<ref>https://cdrfaq.org/faq06.html#S6-1-2</ref>.

Software could save a "layout" of the files for each CD project in a file with the extension .CDL and the PhotoCD software would save the layout with extension .PCL. These files only referenced the location of the files and not the actual files like a disc image.
