'''BATCOM''' (also written "Batcom") is a DOS application that compiles [[Batch file]]s. It was distributed by the Wenham Software Company, and credited to Lee Pelletier.

It apparently compiles a batch file to [[Object file format|OBJ]] format, then uses a third-party linker to create an [[MS-DOS EXE|EXE]] file.

Batch files intended to be compiled with BATCOM evidently use the '''.BC''' file extension, instead of .BAT. It's not clear why.
