font is a font format associated with the ChiWriter scientific document editor for MS-DOS. Filename extension .pft is for printer fonts, and .sft is for screen fonts.

Specification
The ChiWriter format is substantially similar to the GRASP font 'new' format, also used by PC-Paint and apparently deriving from the PC version of Fontrix. The Apple II Fontrix format is somewhat different.

There are two versions of the format:
* ChiWriter v3: http://jphdupre.chez-alice.fr/chiwriter/technic3/gcw3v01.html#pagev09
* ChiWriter v4: http://jphdupre.chez-alice.fr/chiwriter/manuel4/mcw4-155.html#page158
Calamus Font (CFN, for Calamus Font Norm) is a font format associated with the Calamus desktop publishing software by invers Software.

Refer to Calamus for more information.

Identification
CFN files apparently begin with the ASCII signature "CALAMUSCFN".

Specifications
A partial reverse-engineered spec can be found on Usenet:
* https://groups.google.com/g/comp.fonts/c/VM9ZlMk1G2Q/m/OdQqm0yITfwJ

The format appears to contain both bitmaps and outlines based on Bézier curves.
